COMMERCE CITY, Colo. – The Portland Timbers dropped a 2-0 result against the Colorado Rapids at Dick’s Sporting Goods Park on Saturday night. Portland will return home to host the San Jose Earthquakes on Wednesday, Oct. 27 at 7 p.m. (Pacific).
Final Stretch
Portland (14-13-4, 46pts) remains in playoff position with three games to go in the regular season. After playing host to the Earthquakes, the Timbers play their final road match of the regular season campaign against Real Salt Lake on Nov. 3 before squaring off against Austin FC in their regular-season finale on Nov. 7 at Providence Park.

COL – Dominique Badji (Braian Galván), 45+2: Dominique Badji received the ball on the left side near the corner flag, and whipped in a cross to the center of the box for Braian Galván to head in.
COL – Diego Rubio (Braian Galván), 63rd minute: Galván volleyed a pass into the six-yard box for Diego Rubio, who headed it into the left side netting of the goal.
