SEATTLE, WASH. – After falling to CF Montréal 2-1 on Wednesday, Sounders FC (7-7-2, 23 points) travels north of the border to face Toronto FC (5-9-3, 18 points) tonight at BMO Field in the first matchup between the two clubs since Seattle won MLS Cup against Toronto in 2019 at Lumen Field (4:30 p.m. PT / FOX 13+, Prime Video, 93.3 KJR FM, El Rey 1360 AM).
Sounders FC sits seventh in the Western Conference with 23 points in 16 games played this season, while Toronto is in 12th place in the Eastern Conference with 18 points from 17 matches.
Following tonight’s match, Seattle returns home for a matchup against Cascadia rival Portland Timbers on Saturday, July 9 (1:30 p.m. PT / FOX, FOX Deportes, 93.3 KJR FM, El Rey 1360 AM).
