Sergej Milinkovic-Savic could stay at Lazio

There is now a possibility of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic staying at Lazio this summer despite interest from various clubs.

Milinkovic-Savic has been linked with a host of clubs across Europe and that includes Juventus, Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United. Il Tempo though, have now claimed that the Serbian could now stay at the Biancocelesti for at least another season.

While Manchester United were interested, they seem to be moving ahead with their move for Barcelona’s Frenkie de Jong. Juve were also keen and they were a concrete option but their move for Paul Pogba means that they will not sign another midfielder this summer.

Paris Saint-Germain were the only club that made a concrete offer for the midfielder but it was deemed too low for Lazio and their valuation. Claudio Lotito wants about €75 million to negotiate with, even though he would want €100 million for a sale this summer.

While Milinkovic-Savic’s agents will look at potential buyers, nothing concrete seems to be happening. But now, there is a growing possibility that he stays at Lazio.
