BUENOS AIRES, Sept. 10 (Xinhua) — Atletico Tucuman missed a chance to consolidate their place at the top of Argentina’s Primera Division on Saturday when they were held to a 1-1 draw away to San Lorenzo.
Ramiro Carrera put the visitors ahead when he combined with Augusto Lotti before firing into the top-right corner.
But the hosts were back on level terms two minutes later through Adam Bareiro, who lashed home a low finish after Malcom Braida’s cross.
Atletico Tucuman remain top of the Primera Division standings with 34 points, a point ahead of second-placed Gimnasia.
In other Primera Division fixtures on Saturday, Central Cordoba won 3-0 at home to Godoy Cruz and Banfield clinched a 2-1 home win over Colon.
