Roma boss Jose Mourinho has slammed his team after their 4-3 loss to Juventus on Sunday.

Rome were 3-1 up at the 60 minute mark but let in three quick goals against the Bianconeri. They found themselves with a penalty and had Matthijs de Ligt sent off, but Lorenzo Pellegrini missed the penalty.

After the game, Mourinho spoke to DAZN and talked about the performance: “I don’t want to criticize too much, but I could. Especially on some individuals. We had 70 minutes of absolute control, with the mentality and the desire to play. I subbed Felix, who played a great game, and then the player who enters (refers to Shomurodov) after only one minute is wrong. 3-2.

“If you have a strong mentality there is no problem but here there are some complexes because of which even last year they didn’t win the top matches. That goal killed us.”

Roma are now seventh in the league but they have played 2 more games than sixth-placed Fiorentina, who have the same amount of points as them.
