Former Barcelona star Rafinha looks set to return to La Liga during the January transfer window.
Rafinha came through Barca‘s La Masia academy having arrived as a youngster from Brazil.
He went on to make 56 La Liga appearances for Barcelona, also spending two loan spells with Celta Vigo and one with Inter Milan.
Rafinha joined Paris Saint-Germain in 2020, and he has since made 28 league appearances.
But he now looks set to return to La Liga on a loan deal, with opportunities likely to be scarce at PSG for the rest of this season.
Rafinha is set to join Real Sociedad on a loan deal, according to Fabrizio Romano.
It’s claimed the midfielder will join La Real on a loan deal until the end of the season with no option to buy.
Real Sociedad are expected to pay part of Rafinha’s wages and it may well be worth the investment given their decline over recent weeks.
Despite topping the table for much of the season, La Real went into the winter break in sixth place amid a poor run of form.
