According to AS, Real Madrid winger Take Kubo is still on the radar of Real Sociedad.
The Basque club are keeping an eye on the talented wide player, so much so that they have once again made enquiries about his situation at Real Madrid.
Kubo is a player who Roberto Olabe, Real Sociedad’s director of football, was very interested in signing on loan last season, although in the end it was Villarreal who ended up winning the deal. In the event that a move for the Japanese attacker could open up, Olabe would try again to bring him to San Sebastian for the 2021/22 campaign.
Olabe sees him as a guaranteed alternative to David Silva, who, as he showed in his first year at La Real, is not ready to play every game and needs to be rested more regularly. For the moment, there are no open negotiations between the two clubs. It is only a question of interest, with La Real asking if Madrid intend to loan him out again or are considering selling him this summer.
