Predicted Aston Villa starting line-up vs Fulham

Aston Villa take on Fulham in the Premier League this weekend and they will be looking to get back to winning ways.

Dean Smith’s men have won just one of their last six league matches and they will be under pressure to pick up all three points here.

Villa are currently 10th in the Premier League table but they should be doing a lot better after the start they had.

The West Midlands club have been quite inconsistent in recent months but they will be expected to beat 18th placed Fulham at home.

Fulham are fighting to beat the drop this season and they have won two of the last six Premier League matches. The Londoners will certainly look to pull off an upset here and Villa will have to be focused in order to grind out a result.

The last time these two sides met, Villa picked up a 3-0 win away from home and the fans will be hoping for more of the same here.

Fulham might be 16 points behind Villa heading into this weekend’s contest but they are undefeated in their last eight away matches in the Premier League and the home side cannot afford to underestimate them.

There are no major injury issues for Aston Villa heading into Sunday’s game. Kortney Hause has returned to full training after a long spell out and Wesley has stepped up his recovery by playing friendly games for the under 23s.

Smith is likely to make one change to the side that was beaten by Tottenham before the international break.

25-year-old Jack Grealish is set to return to the starting line up in place of Trezeguet.

Predicted Aston Villa starting line-up: Martinez, Cash, Mings, Konsa, Targett, Luiz, McGinn, Grealish, Sanson, Traore, Watkins
