ASUNCION, Sept. 9 (Xinhua) — Paraguay manager Guillermo Barros Schelotto on Friday named uncapped pair Ivan Ramirez and Juan Espinola in his squad for friendlies against the United Arab Emirates and Morocco.
The 18-man list also comprises Newcastle United winger Miguel Almiron, Brighton forward Julio Enciso and Dynamo Moscow defender Roberto Fernandez.
Notable absentees include twins Oscar and Angel Romero, who play for Argentina’s Boca Juniors and Mexican side Cruz Azul, respectively.
Paraguay will meet the United Arab Emirates in Vienna on September 23 and Morocco in Seville four days later.
