Norwich City, on Tuesday, confirmed the good news of their latest new signing. The Carrow Road side announced the arrival of Werder Bremen’s attacker Milot Rashica.

The deal, as per The Athletic, has been publicised by the newly promoted club but for an undisclosed fee. The player will also be Norwich City’s third new incoming of the summer.

Milot Rashica is an important inclusion following the exit of their star attacker from last season, Emiliano Buendia – he left Carrow Road for the project over at Aston Villa for a said £33m.

Norwich City have confirmed the signing of Werder Bremen’s Milot Rashica.

The Kosovo international, who plays as an attacking midfielder or winger, has signed for an undisclosed fee and penned a four-year contract at Carrow Road.

Without the Argentine playmaker, Norwich was missing a key figure, a figure that had a strong hand in their promotion. He pulled the strings and suppled the goods and formed a great partnership with striker Teemu Pukki and midfielder, Todd Cantwell.

The Kosovo international can operate in all of Buendia’s positions and more and is a real goalscoring threat. He has been linked with Premier League clubs in the past, most noticeably, Villa and Wolves.

Milot Rashica on his move to Norwich City:

I know a few things about the club, particularly the style of play under Daniel Farke. I want to continue to learn and develop as a player and person and I think that the style of play here will suit me very well.

I have spoken with the boss and I know what he wants to see from me. Those conversations with him recently have been a big help and I am very excited.

Rashica has six seasons of professional football under his belt between the Dutch Eredivisie and the German Bundesliga, despite only being 24 years old – he scored 34 career goals and has another 28 assists.

The Canaries are far from done

Norwich plans to do a lot of business this summer with their intentions on staying up in the English top-flight. They will look to add quality names to their squad. One player said to be a priority is young Chelsea and Scotland midfielder, Billy Gilmour.

However, he will only be brought in on a loan, as the Blues will try their best to keep hold of one of their most prized jewels who will break into the first team and fighting for a starting spot very soon.
