A lot of Newcastle United fans have flocked to Twitter to voice their thoughts at an image to emerge of their new manager Eddie Howe.

The 43-year-old was appointed as the Tyneside club’s replacement for Steve Bruce on Monday afternoon and he was pictured arriving early on Tuesday morning to the Toon’s training ground.

Will Howe save NUFC from relegation?

Howe will now have just under two weeks to work with his new side before their next Premier League game, which comes against Brentford following the international break.

Toon fans flocked to Twitter as Keith Downie revealed the image of Howe arriving at his new office at 6.55am on Tuesday morning – and these fans loved what they saw.

What did these Newcastle fans have to say?

“This is great to see.”

“this is the attitude we love to see”

“Brilliant commitment”

“Tells you everything about this man’s work ethic. There’s no way anyone is asking him to be at the training ground at this time. That comes from personal drive, discipline and dedication.”

Wow this is truly amazing Keith when did this ever happen before? He means business no more part time managers for our great club. Onwards and upwards”

“Proper work ethic, we have some committed eager staff! Future’s bright The future’s black and white!”

“Truly exciting times.”

Howe will be hoping to hit the ground running at St. James’ Park with the Magpies currently the only club in the top flight without a single win to their name and sit second-bottom on goal difference.

However, it already seems Howe has set a good first impression, with many impressed by his punctuality, especially given the reports Steve Bruce previously went on holiday during one of the international breaks.
