Following on from Thursday’s Champions League draw, Friday saw Serie A representatives Napoli and Lazio learn their Europa League fate as the group stage draw was made.

Lazio will be disappointed to be playing in the Europa League this season, having had a taste of Champions League action last term. Napoli, meanwhile, missed out on Champions League qualification to Juventus on the final day of the 2020/21 season.

In the Europa League, though, Lazio will come up against Galatasaray, Marseille, and Lokomotiv Moscow in Group E.

Napoli, meanwhile, are in Group C where they’ll face Premier League outfit Leicester, Spartak Moscow, and Legia Warsaw.
