Goals may be at a premium as two very strong defences face off on Sunday afternoon.
The Tony Popovic effect was evident as the Victory kept a clean sheet against Western United in their opener, a far cry from the side that conceded a league high 60 goals last season.
Brisbane were strong at the back for 85 of the 90 minutes in their clash with Melbourne City as they fell after a quick fire double from the reigning champions.
When they pressed in the second half they looked dangerous but in this instance I have to back the Popovic effect again.
Take the Victory to hold out the Roar’s attack as both sides try to win the game with a clean sheet.
The difference between as it stands is the Victory have more difference makers going forward while the Roar await the debut of new signing Juan Lescano.
