Leicester City and Celtic OUT as West Ham and Rangers progress in Europa League, Tottenham’s fixture with Brighton off after Rennes postponement, Phillips injury update, England boss Southgate ‘very aware’ of Brentford star

After a great deal of confusion from Wednesday night to Thursday morning, Tottenham’s Europa Conference League clash at home to Rennes will not be taking place as originally scheduled.

Spurs released a statement saying the fixture was off, however, Rennes and UEFA initially challenge this call. However, European football’s governing body have now accepted the match cannot be played tonight.

Tottenham have also confirmed that their clash with Brighton this weekend has also been postponed.

Elsewhere Rangers have progressed to the Europa League play-off round after finishing second in Group A, while Leicester City will drop into the Europa Conference League after finishing third in their group.

West Ham United had already secured top spot but fell to a 1-0 defeat to Dinamo Zagreb, while Celtic’s 3-2 win over Real Betis wasn’t enough to progress.
