Leeds United forward Patrick Bamford looks set to miss the remainder of the season with a foot injury, with the Premier League club stating the playing has ruptured a ligament, but will not require surgery.
Eight weeks of the season remain… and Leeds will likely be without Patrick Bamford for the duration.

The West Yorkshire team’s club doctor, Rob Price, said that Bamford had the injury all year, but with treatment could play on it, this set back will mean he is out for at least six weeks.
“Despite treatment and a prolonged period of rehabilitation, the injury has progressed from a partial tear to a full rupture,” said Price.
This means that the 28-year-old will struggle to make it back before the close of the season, with only eight weeks left of the Premier League calendar.
The England International has had a torrid season with injuries, having managed just nine league appearances this campaign. His made his first injury comeback against Brentford in September, where he scored in a 2-2 draw. His second return lasted just 23 minutes, in the club’s comeback win over Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Bamford is part of a trio of key Leeds players that have missed the majority of the season. England’s Euro’s hero, Kalvin Phillips has mustered up just 12 appearances this year, and club captain Liam Cooper has managed only 15. Unlike the striker, both Phillips and Cooper are hoping to be back in the matchday squad following the international break.
Leeds face back to back crucial games in the Premier League, against Southampton, and fellow strugglers Watford.
