Photos of the shirts expected to be donned by La Liga heavyweights Barcelona both at home and on the road next season have, this weekend, surfaced online.
Nike criticism
The subject of kit design has taken centre stage at Barca of late.
This comes with the latest efforts put forth by manufacturer Nike for the 2021/22 campaign having not exactly gone down a treat with the club’s fanbase.
First came the Blaugrana’s outlandish new-look home jersey (seen below), widely singled out as one of the least aesthetically pleasing in the storied history of the Catalan giants:

This was swiftly followed by another questionable release, in the form of a head-to-toe lilac look, set to be donned by Ronald Koeman’s men on the road over the campaign ahead:

And yet another striking design was too unveiled earlier this week, when the first photos of Barcelona’s exclusive new Champions League home kit leaked online:

Barca’s next design
Bizarrely, though, the kit leaks at the Camp Nou have not ended there.
This comes with pictures of not one, but two of Barca’s predicted jerseys for the 2022/23 season having now come to the fore on social media.
The images come courtesy of the reliable Footy Headlines, who confirm that the Blaugrana’s next home design, a return to more traditional values, should look as follows:
