Lazio fans recently insulted and abused defender Francesco Acerbi before the club’s training session earlier today.
Acerbi has been linked with moves away from Lazio this summer and his relationship with the club’s fans has seen ups and downs over the last 12 months.
La Lazio Siamo Noi have reported that Acerbi had arrived at the club’s ttraining facility earlier today – following his commitments to the Italian national team. But on his arrival, the defender was welcomed by the club’s fans, who abused and insulted him.
Some of the Biancocelesti fans shouted ‘piece of sh*t’ at the Italian, while others made it clear that they want the player gone by saying ‘Acerbi vattene’ or ‘Acerbi get out’. These things were repeated multiple times, especially when he trained separately.
Acerbi then applauded in a sarcastic way to the fans and gave an ‘ok’ gesture later on to express his displeasure to them.
