LA Galaxy Earn 4-0 Win over New England Revolution in Preseason Action at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday Night

LOS ANGELES – Continuing their 2022 preseason preparations, the LA Galaxy earned a 4-0 shutout win over the New England Revolution before 9,345 fans at Dignity Health Sports Park on Saturday night. Kévin Cabral registered a brace and Dejan Joveljić notched a goal, while Javier Hernández, Sacha Kljestan, Rayan Raveloson and Julián Araujo each tallied assists in the win over New England.

LA – Kévin Cabral (Javier “Chicharito” Hernández), 12th minute: Chicharito’s pass in behind the New England defense found the run of Kévin Cabral, who took a touch around the New England goalkeeper and slotted in his shot from close range.

LA – Kévin Cabral (Julián Araujo, Rayan Raveloson), 47th minute: Rayan Raveloson’s long ball down the right flank found Julián Araujo, whose low cross across the face of goal was finished by Cabral from close range.

LA – Dejan Joveljić (Sacha Kljestan), 63rd minute: After Hamza Barry dispossessed the ball from a New England player, Sacha Kljestan carried it and delivered a pass into space behind the New England backline. Joveljić latched onto the ball and his shot from the edge of the penalty area was buried into the bottom left corner of the net.

LA – Own Goal (Jon Bell), 70th minute: Following a corner kick, Efraín Álvarez dribbled down the right end line and his hard pass across the face of goal was knocked in by New England defender Jon Bell.
