June 28, 2022 – Major League Soccer (MLS) – LA Galaxy News Release

LOS ANGELES – The LA Galaxy today announced programming for their home match against Minnesota United FC, presented by Angry Orchard, at Dignity Health Sports Park at 7:30 p.m. PT on Wednesday, June 29 (Spectrum SportsNet; LAGalaxy.com).

SoccerFest

Galaxy fans will have the chance to face off against LA Galaxy eMLS player GODFATHER at SoccerFest, the Galaxy’s pregame festival area. The live Prize Drawing returns, with fans having the chance to enter to win one of 10 items, including autographed LA Galaxy Gazelle sneakers, team-signed jerseys and DGK Community Kit skateboard decks. Continuing with the festivities at SoccerFest, 100 lucky winners will win either two tickets to the match against CF Montréal on July 4, a discount at the LA Galaxy Team Store or a concession voucher. Lastly, there will be booths on site that have a caricature artist, face paintings and a 360 degree camera.

Merchandise

The Wild Collective Collection – an LA Galaxy women’s line – has been replenished and will be available for fans to purchase at all LA Galaxy Team Store locations.

LA Galaxy Foundation

The LA Galaxy has partnered up with FUTBL.org to host a cleat drive at the stadium on Wednesday. Fans can bring their gently used cleats and donate to children who don’t have cleats of their own. Donation bins will be located outside by each main entrance gate. FUTBL.org’s vision is a world where we no longer have children walking onto a fútbol pitch barefoot. Additionally, the LA Galaxy Foundation will be auctioning off the match-worn, autographed Primeblue jerseys the team worn on its May 29 match against Austin FC in celebration of World Oceans Day.

Match Information

Tickets for the June 29 match are still available at www.lagalaxy.com/tickets. Wednesday’s match marks the 10th MLS regular-season meeting between LA and Minnesota United FC, with the Galaxy leading the series 5-1-4. In four matches played at home against Minnesota, LA holds an unbeaten record of 2-0-2. The last time the two clubs squared off against one another at Dignity Health Sports Park, the Galaxy and the Loons played to a 3-3 draw on Nov. 7, 2021.
