RB Leipzig midfielder Kevin Kampl (31) is open to the possibility of extending his contract with the Bundesliga club beyond 2023.
“I can imagine an extension. I used to chance clubs after two seasons at the latest, but I’ve been in Leipzig for four-and-a-half years now,” Kampl told Sport Bild. “A few years ago I wanted an adventure at the end of my career, for example in the USA. In the meantime, I would now prefer a few more years in Leipzig to the adventure.”
The Slovenia international has played 22 games in all competitions for RB Leipzig this season and is developing an excellent understanding alongside Tyler Adams in midfield.
