Keith give up two-goal lead to lose at Inverurie Locos, Formartine United held by Brora Rangers, wins for Wick Academy and Huntly

KEITH fell victim to an Inverurie Locos comeback in a dramatic match at Harlaw Park.

The Maroons went 2-0 up with a James Brownie first half brace.

Lloyd Robertson pulled one back on the hour but within a minute Michael Selfridge scored from the spot to put Keith 3-1 up.

A seven minute spell produced three Locos goal to turn the game on its head.

Rob Ward scored a spectacular 69th minute strike and sub Neil Gauld netted twice in quick succession to make it 4-3.

Locos then had Nathan Meres sent off for a second yellow but still had time for a fifth goal, Gauld completing his hat-trick in stoppage time.

There were as many goals at North Lodge Park where Formartine United shared the spoils with champions Brora Rangers.

Andy Macrae gave the Cattachs an early lead but it was short-lived as Daniel Park quickly levelled for Formartine, who took the lead from a Jonny Smith penalty on 12 minutes.

Another spot kick saw Brora level through Dale Gillespie on the stroke of half time.

Formartine took control with goals by Kevin Hanratty on the hour and Scott Lisle on 76 minutes.

Macrae pulled one back for Brora late on and Gillespie netted his second in a stoppage time scramble.

Huntly new signing Robbie Foster scored on his debut in a 3-0 win over Turriff United.

The striker, fresh from his move from Fort William, came off the bench to net Huntly’s third goal after Joel MacBeath and Gavin Elphinstone had netted either side of half time.

Two goals decided matters at Harmsworth Park as Wick Academy grabbed victory over Lossiemouth.

Ross Archibald put through his own net five minutes before the break, and Davie Allan wrapped up victory in stoppage time.
