Kaizer Chiefs have drawn Tanzanian side Simba SC in the quarter-finals of this season’s CAF Champions League.

Amakhosi will settle for that match-up and will fancy their chances of progressing to the semi-finals for the first time in the club’s history.
Simba SC were the winners of Group A and boasted a record of four wins, one draw and one defeat in their six matches.
Kaizer Chiefs were runners-up in their Group C.

Kaizer Chiefs avoided a mouth-watering all-South African showdown against Mamelodi Sundowns as well as Esperance de Tunis of Tunisia in Friday’s draw.
As the “unseeded” team, Kaizer Chiefs will host the first leg at the FNB Stadium on the weekend of 14-15 May with the return leg in Tanzania a week later on 21-22 May.

The winners of the Kaizer Chiefs v Simba SC tie will face either MC Alger or Wydad Athletic Club in the semi-finals.
