Juventus considering Martial as plan B

Juventus are poised to make a move for Anthony Martial of Manchester United after realising that they are set to miss out on Dusan Vlahovic in January.

The Bianconeri have been keeping tabs on Fiorentina’s star man, Vlahovic, but are looking increasingly less likely to get the Serbian in January, so are having to initiate plan B.

Top of the list of secondary options is the Red Devil’s Martial, according to Tuttomercatoweb. The striker, who moved to Old Trafford from Monaco for €60 million, in 2015, is said to already have his bags packed as he looks for a way out, initially on loan.

The next option for Juventus would be Gianluca Scamacca, but Sassuolo are unwilling to part with their man in January, although a summer move still hasn’t been ruled out.

The sudden urge for a striker has come about because, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Alvaro Morata is subject of a €35 million bid from an unnamed club and Atletico Madrid want to cash in.
