Celtic have completed the signings of Joe Hart and James McCarthy as they continue to strengthen their squad.
Hart has signed a three-year deal after leaving Tottenham while McCarthy signs a four-year contract to join his boyhood heroes.
And both players have revealed their delight at signing with McCarthy admitting he can’t wait to play for Celtic in front of his family at Celtic Park.
Hart revealed it’s a ‘great moment’ in his career after a few seasons of struggling for first team football and both players will be hoping to kickstart their careers.
Hart said: “This is a great moment for me in my career and I am absolutely delighted to be joining a club of Celtic’s stature.
“I know just how big this club is and of the incredible support that it enjoys, and I can’t wait to play in front of the fans at Celtic Park.
“I’m looking forward to meeting up with my new team-mates now and getting to work with the squad and, in particular, the other goalkeepers here.”

McCarthy has long been linked with a move to Celtic Park since leaving Hamilton back in 2009 and now the deal has finally been done.
He said: “To have signed for Celtic is a brilliant feeling and this is a special day for me and my family.
“I know all about the club, the size of it and all the success it’s enjoyed, particularly in recent years. I’m looking forward to pulling on the Hoops, playing at Paradise and helping the team deliver more success to these amazing fans in the seasons ahead.”
Ange Postecoglou has now made six signings as Celtic manager with the pair joining Osaze Urhoghide, Liel Abada, Carl Starfelt and Kyogo Furuhashi.
