TEHRAN (Tasnim) – Iran edged past Argentina 3-2 (25-21, 22-25, 19-25, 25-22, 15-13) in the Memorial of Hubert Jerzy Wagner on Saturday.

Iran started the campaign with a 3-0 loss against Poland and also lost to Serbia 3-2 in its second match.
Iran participated in the four-team tournament as part of preparation for the 2022 FIVB Volleyball Men’s World Championship, where Team Melli has been drawn in Pool F along with Argentina, Egypt and the Netherlands.
Iran will play Argentina on August 27 in its opener.
