Hearts of Oak to build a new stadium – Togbe Afede


Togbe Afede XVI, Board Chairman of Accra Hearts of Oak has revealed that there are plans for the club to put up a new stadium. This is part of some strategic plans to propel the club to higher heights, Togbe outlined.

The affluent chief made the revelation during the launching of the model for the Commercial Centre for the Accra based club.

He stated that the club is ready to move to a higher stage in Ghana football and outlined the following;

  1. To improve the communication system of the club, Hearts News (newspaper) will hit the market soon. It will involve both hard copy and online.
  2. Hearts have commercial center and Pobiman Academy Project will be ready soon together with their new head office
  3. Hearts will build a new stadium
  4. The club will expand the Pobiman Project; the project will constitute golf courts, swimming pool, gym, three natural football pitches and one artificial pitch

On Wednesday, May 11th 2022, Hearts of Oak unveiled their new commercial center. The new building will house all business activities of the club.

Present at the function were former Club Chairmen, Nii Ayi Bonte and Dr. Nyarho Tamakloe. The General Secretary of Ghana Football Association, Lawyer Prosper Addo was also present to represent the GFA.
