Supporters of Accra Hearts of Oak have set up plans to demonstrate against the Board of Directors of the club. This is as a result of a leaked information of the Boards plans to sack Coach Samuel Boadu.
There have been a lot of call from some of the Board members to let Boadu move on after guiding the club to win their 12th record FA Cup. The Board members led by Dr. Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe insists Boadu is not good enough to guide the club as they approach the CAF Confederations Cup net season.
They recommend that the Board led by Tobge Afede go in for a foreign coach who has the technical accrumen to guide the team for a better performance in the African club competition. This is because Boadu failed to convince them last season when they played in the CAF Champions League.
The aggrieved Board members also think their coach has lost the dressing room as he is currently not in good terms with some of the key players. This is reported to have been revealed by the players to the Board members.
Most supporters of the club think Samuel Boadu deserves another chance after defending the MTN FA Cup. He led the club to beat Bechem United 2-1 in the finals played last Sunday in Kumasi.
They also insist that Boadu stays because he brought the club back to winning ways after inning the league trophy after eleven years of struggle. Hearts of Oak on the Ghana Premier league in the 2020/2021 season in addition to the MTN FA Cup.
The 36 year old coach also won the President’s Cup and the Super Cup with the club making his total trophies five in just a year and half.
