Ghanaian giants Hearts of Oak have appointed Benjamin Mensah as a new assistant goalkeepers’ trainer at the club.
Mensah, who turns 39 on Sunday, has been at the capital club since November 2016 and after 6 seasons with the former African champions will now become an assistant trainer at the club.
According to Phobianews.com, the move to elevate Mensah to the technical team is a result of his loyalty and dedication to the club.
Separate media reports claim, that Hearts are keen to enroll the former King Faisal shot-stopper in a coaching course programme to bolster his professional knowledge.
He has won 1 league title and 2 FA Cup titles since joining the club.
