Former Ghana international Yaw Preko has been confirmed as Great Olympics head coach, succeeding Annor Walker.
Walker left Olympics for a similar position at Samartex, where he signed a two-year contract.
The Accra-based club have decided that Preko is the best candidate for the job and offered him a two-year contract ahead of the new season.
Preko worked with the club two seasons ago as an interim coach before joining Medeama SC.
Great Olympics will host Bechem United in the first game of the season at the Accra Sports Stadium.
Yaw Preko will be in the dugout, hoping to secure his first win of the season.
Preko led the side to win the 2022 GHALCA G6 tournament during the pre-season.
