BUENOS AIRES, July 20 (Xinhua) — A 96th-minute strike from teenage forward Tomas Gonzalez earned Union Santa Fe a 2-2 draw at San Lorenzo in Argentina’s Primera Division on Wednesday.

Adam Bareiro gave the hosts the lead on the half-hour mark and Nahuel Barrios made it 2-0 on the stroke of halftime.

But the visitors rallied late as Diego Polenta and Gonzalez put them on level terms and extended their unbeaten league run to five matches.

Union are now ninth in the 28-team standings with 15 points from nine games while San Lorenzo are 12th, three points further back.

In other Primera Division fixtures on Wednesday, Estudiantes won 3-1 at home to Barracas, Defensa overcame Independiente 2-1 and Patronato prevailed 1-0 over Tigre.
