The youngster tried to push Nuno’s side forward and was a problem for the Arsenal defenders.
Gil had a pass accuracy of 76.9%, took 22 touches, attempted two dribbles, and put in one cross.
The former Sevilla winger is only 20, and it will take him a while to become a regular in the Tottenham first team.
The signs are very positive indeed, and the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium faithful will hope to see more from him in the coming weeks and months.
