A fresh insight into the fitness of Brentford pair Bryan Mbeumo and Ethan Pinnock has been forthcoming on Thursday evening.
Tielemans amongst the goals
Thomas Frank’s men were of course back in action this past weekend.
On the back of an impressive opening to the campaign, which had seen them emerge as the surprise package of the English top-flight, the Bees welcomed Leicester City to west London, aiming to maintain their spot in the Premier League’s top half.
When all was said and done on Sunday afternoon, however, Brentford were ultimately condemned to a 2nd successive defeat.
Goals on the part of Youri Tielemans and James Maddison proved enough to lead Leicester to a 2-1 win, guiding Brendan Rodgers and co. clear of their hosts on the day in the PL table.

‘Good chance’
The eventual result at the Brentford Community Stadium, however, actually proved far from the Bees’ sole concern last time out.
A pair of the club’s key performers – in the form of Bryan Mbeumo and Ethan Pinnock – were also forced off prematurely, owing to respective injury problems.
In turn, with his side set to return to action in a Premier League meeting with Burnley this weekend, Thomas Frank, speaking to the media on Thursday, was inevitably asked for an update on the fitness of the pair.
And the news proved of an encouraging nature, as the Brentford boss went on to confirm that both Mbeumo and Pinnock have a ‘good chance’ of featuring at Turf Moor on Saturday:
Thomas Frank says there is a “good chance” that Bryan Mbeumo and Ethan Pinnock, hamstring and hip respectively, will be available for the game against Burnley. A decision will be made after the final session on Friday.
