FC Barcelona – La Liga: How Barcelona’s players reacted to Clasico defeat on social media

Actualizado

Some members of the Barcelona dressing room waited until Sunday to address their social media followers following Saturday’s Clasico defeat to Real Madrid.

Ronald Koeman‘s side were caught cold in the first half at Valdebebas, with Oscar Mingueza‘s goal getting them back into the game in the second 45.

Karim Benzema and a defected Toni Kroos freekick were enough for Real Madrid in the end, though the Catalan was furious with some of the decisions that they felt should have gone Barcelona‘s way

“Yesterday’s loss in El Clasico was a shame,” Mingueza wrote on Instagram.

“I’m proud of how the team faced up to the challenge. We’ll fight until the end.”

“It wasn’t the result that we wanted, but we’ll keep going until the end,” Sergi Roberto said on Instagram.

“It’s time to be more united than ever and fight for this title until the final day! Time to think about the Copa del Rey final!

“I’m happy to have got back out there after so much time in recovery. Thanks to everyone that has supported me day by day!”

“We got up,” Ilaix Moriba said on Instagram, referring to Barcelona’s second half display.

“I will always give my all for this club, which has given me so much.”

Martin Braithwaite, who Barcelona thought was fouled by Ferland Mendy after coming on, also sent out a tweet.
