Dusan Vlahovic has been urged to push on and complete the ‘perfect’ transfer to north London from Fiorentina, but not to Arsenal – instead to Tottenham.
That is according to the opinion of respected, transfer guru Fabrizio Romano who weighed in on the ongoing transfer saga, revealing in an interview via the Express, that Tottenham and Antonio Conte would be an ideal partnership, and also stating that Dusan Vlahovic intends to play out the season in Italy;
“Premier League, the right step not to go to a top club immediately – Tottenham is of course a top club but not ready to win the Champions League.”
“So I think it’s the perfect step for him.”
“Arsenal are pushing for the January transfer window [for Vlahovic]. They are ready to make a big proposal, to include Lucas Torreira into the deal.”
“The real problem for Arsenal is to change Dusan Vlahovic’s mind because the player wants to stay at Fiorentina and then leave in the summer.”
Don’t Miss:
Another caveat for the Gunners is the fee, expected to be around the £70million mark, potentially breaking the club’s transfer record spent on Nicolas Pepe.
