Cops have launched a probe after footage emerged of Celtic fans involved in a violent brawl with punters outside a Rangers bar in Glasgow.

The rammy kicked off outside of Oswald’s Bar in the city centre just before 3pm on Saturday with around 20 thugs believed to be involved in the incident.

The gang, dressed in black hoodies with the slogan ‘Bhoys’, were filmed grabbing chairs from outside the boozer and throwing them at customers.

Other objects and chairs are then hurled back towards the crowd by a group off camera.

One woman was even forced to take cover inside a telephone box as the carnage unfolded.

A statement released by Oswald’s Bar said: “To The Rangers Family,

“After yesterday’s incident, firstly we want to thank our brave regulars who defended the bar and stopped this escalating further.

“We also want to thank everyone for their messages of support

“I’m sure we speak for all bars in condemning this mindless behaviour and thankfully none of our staff or patrons were seriously hurt.

“The safety of all at Oswalds is our upmost priority therefore appropriate measures have been put in place.

“Now let’s get back to business and cheer on our Kings Of Scotland!

“Get through today and make this an old firm final to remember.”
