Fair to point out that Mexico isn’t exactly lighting it up with goals either. Actually, looking at the points table, the standings seem really accurate. Canada has been the best team and is in good position to win the octo. US and Mexico have had some good results and some disappointing games and are tied for 2nd. Panama has been the surprise and only one point from 3rd place. Costa is running out the same team from eight years ago, is barely alive, but still within striking distance of 4th. The others are done. For the US, it looks like winning the home games of Honduras and especially Panama will be enough for at least 3rd. Anything less will have to be made up for by beating either Mexico or Costa on the road, tough ask.
