Chippa United look to bounce back from a losing streak – SABC News

Chippa United will be looking to bounce back from a losing streak when they face Stellenbosch in a DSTV Premiership encounter at the Parow Park Stadium in Cape Town on Saturday.

Their last game in the league was a 3-1 home defeat to Pirates at the Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium.

The Gqeberha-based outfit has only recorded one victory in the last four games of the season.

Chippa head Coach Gavin Hunt says the team needs to improve defensive mistakes.

“It’s all about defending and the team in defensive mode and it’s something that we need to improve and it’s been a problem all these years at Chippa. And we are little bit soft and we need to improve our defensive and defend to the principle we put in place. So, for our upcoming game, the approach has to improve in defense. We have to be tight from the front to the back. So, that is what we are working on at the training.”
