CHICAGO – Chicago Fire FC will head to Florida tomorrow to begin its 2022 preseason training camp.
The Fire will kick off preseason in Orlando, Fla., from Jan. 17-Feb. 3 at the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. While in Orlando, the Fire will face off against Minnesota United FC in a preseason match on Saturday, Jan. 29, at 12:00 p.m. CT. The match will take place at the Omni Resort at ChampionsGate.
Following training camp in Florida, the Fire will travel to Austin, Texas on Feb. 6, where the team will compete against three MLS opponents. Chicago will first face Toronto FC at 11:00 a.m. CT on Saturday, Feb. 12. Four days later, the Club will take on FC Dallas in a preseason Brimstone Cup match at 11:00 a.m. CT on Wednesday, Feb. 16. The Fire will close out its second phase of preseason training with a contest against hosts Austin FC on Saturday, Feb. 19 at 12:00 p.m. CT.
All three matches will take place at Austin FC’s St. David’s Performance Center and will be closed to the public. Streaming information for preseason matches in Orlando and Austin will be provided at a future date.
