Borussia Dortmund have reportedly declined Chelsea’s move for highly sought-after star striker Erling Haaland.

Chelsea made an informal player-plus-cash proposal for the Norwegian forward, who is also being chased by Barcelona, Real Madrid and Manchester City.

It’s understood Tammy Abraham or Callum Hudson-Odoi were used as part of Chelsea’s offer.

Dortmund are determined to hang on to Haaland, with an asking price of 150 million pounds.

Haaland scored 41 goals in 41 appearances for Dortmund in the 2020-21 season.

Chelsea are in the market for a goal scorer, with Timo Werner failing to provide the output expected in 2020-21 after joining from RB Leipzig.

The Blues’ front line includes Werner, Abraham as well as Olivier Giroud who is expected to join AC Milan.

Chelsea are also interested in Tottenham’s Harry Kane and Inter Milan’s Romelu Lukaku.

Dortmund held on to Jadon Sancho 12 months ago amid interest from Manchester United although he is set to make that exact move imminently.
