Post-game comments from head coach Wilfried Nancy, Victor Wanyama and James Pantemis available here.

WILFRIED NANCY

“I saw some good things in the midfield. But I would have liked to put a little more doubt in the opponent. I want my players to have freedom in the game while respecting a position on the field. And there were times when I thought we were switching positions a little too much. That’s one of the things we’ll be adjusting. We need to have a good structure first. At times when we moved the ball, instead of having a man advantage, given our poor positioning, we were outnumbered instead. That’s why I think there are adjustments to be made.”

VICTOR WANYAMA

“We know the fans are important to us. Those who were present today did their part. But we let them down. We didn’t give our best. We are a bit angry about the performance. Nashville didn’t do anything. They just defended. They were looking for counterattacks. You could see the entire game they put their whole team behind the ball. We didn’t move the ball as well as we usually do.”

JAMES PANTEMIS

“I didn’t really have any doubts going into the game even though it had been five weeks since my last start. Mostly, I wanted to make the first save. We worked well together. Unfortunately, we conceded on the free kick. Hats off to my defense. They helped me a lot. I got the start tonight and I’m happy with my personal performance.”
