The dust has barely settled on last season but already we’re looking to what lies ahead.
Ange Postecoglou is the new Celtic manager and among his first tasks will be attempting to secure Champions League group stage qualification.
Scotland’s improved UEFA country coefficient ensured the Parkhead club get a second chance at competing at Europe’s top table despite finishing runners-up to Rangers in last season’s Premiership.
It does, however, mean their path to the promised land gets that bit more difficult.
Celtic will enter through the non-champions route which tends to guarantee tougher ties along the way.
Starting at the second qualifying round, Postecoglou’s side join PSV Eindhoven and last season’s Europa League foes Sparta Prague as seeds.
It means the Parkhead club will face one of Midtjylland, Rapid Vienna or Galatasaray.
After last season’s qualifying format was reduced to one legged ties due to Covid-19, the traditional home and away format returns for 2021/22.
The second round qualifiers are set to played across the 20/21 and 27/28 July.
Today’s draw gets under way at 11am and you can follow the drama LIVE below.
