Chris Sutton has stated that it ‘can’t be right’ that the Kroenke’s at Arsenal are ‘keeping things in-house’, as he told 606.

It was suggested to the former Premier League title-winner that it’s a good thing that the Arsenal owners are quiet and don’t say much to their supporters.

For a long time now, those at the top of Arsenal’s ship have had a very rocky relationship with their supporters.

It’s no surprise because not many English clubs have declined like the Gunners since they last lifted the Premier League title.

Former Celtic and Blackburn striker Sutton thinks the Kroenke’s need to be more involved and more vocal in what they do at the club.

“You are saying that the Kroenke’s don’t do any interviews and you actually think that’s a good thing,” said Sutton.

“Isn’t that one of the Arsenal fans gripes with the Kroenke’s that they want to hear their vision.

“I think the fans, at every football club, is transparency. And to know the workings. How the club is run. Where is the money going? What’s your vision?

“And if the Kroenke’s are keeping things in-house, then that can’t be the right thing to do in the eyes of the fans and they will feel they are being pushed to the side.”

One thing is for sure, Arsenal are currently in a good headspace and things are a lot better than where they were during the first three games of the campaign.

But, given how emotions can run high in North London, one defeat can turn the currently positive atmosphere toxic in next to no time.

Although, one thing that can’t be argued is the backing Mikel Arteta has got since replacing Unai Emery.

Even Emery himself spent a large pot of money, including club-record signing Nicolas Pepe, so there can’t be any excuses on that front.
