The Ghana Football Association’s Disciplinary Committee has charged Asante Kotoko attacker Emmanuel Gyamfi for misconduct.
In a release issued by the association Gyamfi is charged for misconduct during Kotoko’s 3-2 win over Inter Allies in the matchday 23 clash at the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu on Monday.
According to the charge sheet: “on 14th of June 2021, during the match between Inter Allies FC and your
team at the Theatre of Dreams, did stamp player number 45m of Inter Allies (Andy Okpe) in an off-ball situation around the 65th minute of the game, an action which in the opinion on the association is an improper and likely to bring the game into disrepute.”
Gyamfi must respond to the charge through a written response or must demand to make a personal appearance before the committee to respond to the charges laid against him by the committee.
The 26-year-old scored the opening goal of the game.
