Arsenal have reportedly agreed to a 32 million pound deal for Ukrainian full-back Oleksandr Zinchenko with Manchester City.
The 25-year-old struggled for regular game-time with City last season, making only 15 appearances in the Premier League as they won the title.
Zinchenko has been with City since 2016, but will re-unite with the club’s ex-assistant Mikel Arteta who is now the manager at Arsenal.
The Ukrainian will follow Gabriel Jesus in making the switch from City to Arsenal this off-season.
Personal terms are yet to be formally completed but are understood to not be an issue.
The Gunners missed out on Ajax’s left-sided defender Lisandro Martinez to Manchester United.
Arsenal have been busy again this off-season, landing Fabio Vieira, Matt Turner, Marquinhos and Jesus.
Arteta has let Alexandre Lacazette exit to Olympique Lyon, while Matteo Guendouzi permanently joined Marseille after a loan period.
The English champions have seen plenty of players depart this off-season, including Jesus and Zinchenko along with Raheem Sterling for Chelsea.
Brazilian veteran Fernandinho has also returned to his homeland to join Athletico Paranaense.
City have landed young star striker Erling Haaland from Borussia Dortmund as well as Leeds United midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
