The agent of Genoa defender and Juventus target Andrea Cambiaso has revealed that they are hoping that he joins a big club in the summer.
Juve are eyeing a summer move for the defender but Atalanta had a deal in place to sign the Italian in the summer itself. The move didn’t go through and the player stayed at Genoa as he wanted to finish the campaign at the relegation threatened side.
Cambiaso’s agent Giovanni Bia told Radio Sportiva about the player’s future and stated: “Someone knocked on Genoa’s door and also quite loudly. In January, however, there was an agreement for which they did not make him leave and Andrea did not want to leave.
“He was very keen to finish the season in Genoa. In June, we hope that Genoa will be saved from relegation and that requests will arrive for us capable of providing important money to the coffers of the club, bringing the boy to more prestigious teams to improve his level. If this happens we must all be happy.”
