Melbourne City will start clear favourites on the road against Adelaide United on Saturday night.
Adelaide has won just one match this season, but they have been reasonably consistent and find themselves mid-table heading into Round 10. Their dominant triumph over the Wellington Phoenix was franked when they held the in-form Victory to a draw last week, despite being reduced to ten men.
Melbourne City haven’t quite been as potent as they were on their way to last season’s championship, but they done enough to keep in touch with the league leaders, and they have lost just once this time around.
I do believe that Adelaide are over the odds at their current price, but I do also understand why City have been priced as favourites. I’m going to stay on the fence.
