FF247 FPL Pre Season Hub 2022/23

Welcome to FF247 FPL Pre Season Hub 2022/23

In this season of a first ever winter World Cup, and hence an early start to the domestic football calendars across the European Continent, you could be forgiven for saying ….

“What, Pre Season games? Already?”

Last season only ‘ended’ 35 days ago domestically with the Champions League final in Paris. Still, Liverpool will be back in action a week on Tuesday against Manchester United in a friendly. In Thailand.

When you factor in that most players then had to go represent their country in World Cup, African Nations Cup or Nations League matches, then there truly is no break these days.

More FPL rotation than ever before, anyone? – that’s before you consider we now have 5 subs per team per game now. Ha!

But we at FF247 mirror those highly over paid athletes as we prepare for you our Pre Season Article for the 2022/23 season. As ever, all fixtures are listed below and we have a dedicated comment section for each of the 20 clubs.

We welcome back Nottingham Forest after their 23-year exile from top division football. From Burton to Berlin, they too, are gearing towards the weirdest season ever by getting in the miles on the clock.

Please feel free to post any exciting, useful or FPL related material or information for each team. This is an interactive article as always!

Your FF247 community will deliver you safely to the World Cup break. Nope! Just doesn’t sound right…..

Here’s that all important Fixture Tracker itself…

FIXTURE TRACKER 2022/23

As for the season itself all you really need to know at this stage is that it begins on Friday August 5th at 8pm (most likely with an FPL deadline of 6.30pm). Which is a week earlier than usual, and that is because we will have a massive mid-season break of about 6 weeks due to the World Cup. The break begins after GW16 on November 14th. We then resume, rather bizzarely and abruptly, on Boxing Day, but that’s a discussion and an issue for another day!
