Russell Wilson headed to Denver in blockbuster deal Drew Lock, Noah Fant, Shelby Harris, two first-round picks to SEA By: Mike Krueger | Mar 8 2022, 2:17 pm
Blockbuster: After weeks of negotiations, in one of the largest trades in NFL history, the Seattle Seahawks and Denver Broncos have agreed to terms for a deal involving Super-Bowl winning QB Russell Wilson, sources tell ESPN. Trade is pending a physical and Wilson’s approval. Trade package:
Seattle gets QB Drew Lock, TE Noah Fant, DL Shelby Harris, two first-round picks, two second-round picks and a fifth-round pick.
FFToday’s Take:This is a monster deal for both teams but leaves the Seahawks without a proven quarterback. The Broncos have been QB shopping for the better part of two years and finally get a proven NFL QB in Wilson. Despite losing an athletic tight end in Fant, Wilson will have Jerry Jeudy and Courtland Sutton on the outside. Albert Okwuegbunam is likely to become a fantasy darling among touts.
