Less than four months after the inaugural race at Jeddah Corniche Circuit, Formula 1 returns for the second edition of the Saudi Arabian Grand Prix this March. After being the penultimate race of the 2021 season, the 2022 Saudi Arabian Grand Prix will be the second race of the season. It runs just one week after the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix.
After huge interest in the first race last December, it seems as though less tickets will be sold for the race in 2022. This is partly because of the short time between races and partly because many interested fans already attended the first race. As a result, it should be easier to find good quality accommodation for the race this March. Jeddah doesn’t have a huge stock of hotels, and not that many international chains, but accommodation is generally of quite a high standard and prices are affordable by international standards. You are likely to pay a large premium for rooms at international chain hotels in Jeddah on race weekend, but many local hotels (and apart hotels) are well rated and much cheaper.
