Day 1
DRX vs Liiv SANDBOX
DRX came in against LSB undefeated and looking to continue to show dominance over the lower teams in the LCK. A much-improved Sandbox with the addition of Prince has shown to be a playoff contender early in this season.
LSB came out fighting in game one with huge fights going their way early. These fights allowed Prince to get out to a score of 5-1 at 18 minutes and from there on would hard carry Sandbox to victory finishing with 13 kills. DRX would dominate game two bringing the series to a decider. Sandbox shows good map control, and even with a strong early performance from Deft, they could snowball a lead and take control of the game.

T1 vs Kwangdong Freecs
Undefeated T1 looked to continue its league dominance as they took on their kryptonite in the Freecs.
T1 got a huge draft advantage in game one with huge early game carries in Lucian and Nami in the bot lane. While T1 did have some oversteps they would control the game for its duration and take game one. Games two and three however would see the downfall of T1. KDF came in with the new power pick of Seraphine in both games that would show T1’s lack of adaptability as they were destroyed in Draft and eventually in the game. KDF would use their stronger comps to end the undefeated streak.

Day 2
Fredit Brion vs Hanwha Life Esports
The battle of the bottom comes out as the two winless teams square off hoping to finally show some life in this already desolate split.
Fredit would get out to a solid lead in game one and with the Zeri pick is able to have good control of the game for the majority of it. Bro looked solid throughout and took advantage of HLE’s misplays to come out to a victory in game one. That is about the end of the positives for Bro as HLE would show off their bit of talent in the next game. Game three would see close early games but Hena actually intend the game with a random galeforce forward that would shift all momentum.

NongShim REDFORCE vs Gen.G
Gen.G has been the most dominant team in LCK this split and they face off against an NS team that has shown potential but most failed to live up to it.
There was almost no competition in these games as Gen.G continued to play at the level they have shown all year showing off two dominant games against NS. They entirely outclassed NS with their play even the small bits of solid play out of Nongshim was not enough to overcome the beast that is Gen.G. Ruler has almost immaculate gameplay and continues to prove he is a top-two ADC in Korea.

Day 3
Damwon Kia vs kt Rolster
After losing to both Gen.G and T1 last week Damwon looked to come back and beat a struggling KT roster.
KT would come out swinging in game one with an early lead at 15 minutes and showing good map control. This would all disappear over a dragon fight when Canyon in his dying breathes would set up a huge fight for Showmaker and Nuguri to clean up and take a lead. KT’s response would be to sneak Baron but a huge steal from Showmaker would seal this game up. Game two was a clown fiesta as there were 23 kills in the first 22 minutes. These fights were bloody but Damwon came out on top of most of them and was able to build a lead and win-handedly.

DRX vs T1
Both coming off of upsets early in the week DRX and T1 face off in the match of the week both trying to correct their course.
Game one was an incredibly close slugfest between the two teams. Pyosik and DRX have good early game movement getting lots of early picks and starting to build up an early lead. The decider would actually come out of Oner who secured an early Drake taking away the possibility for an early soul for DRX to continue snowballing their lead. This small macro play gave T1 time to come back and scale up winning late-game fights and eventually the game. In-game two T1 would right their wrongs by picking Senna and Seraphine to dominate the game and out draft DRX too.

Day 4
Fredit Brion vs LiiV SANDBOX
Sandbox looked to continue their strong week and beat a floundering Fredit team.
Game one showed a lot of back and forth play as the jungles on each team ganked and dove all over the map trading kills back and forth. The Umti presence was a lot stronger than Predator but wouldn’t be enough as LSB as a whole is a more complete unit. This would continue to show in game two as LSB would dominate the series.

Gen.G vs Kwangdong Freecs
There is not much to say here overall like Gen.G is really good and KDF is not. They have shown basically no weakness so far in this split.

Day 5
NongShim REDFORCE vs Damwon Kia
Nongshim continued to struggle in their games and fail to draft around their stronger laners in Canna. With a stronger draft and better players, Damwon Kia would have an easy time in both games. Nongshim would show more life in game two but were overall weaker and would lose out again falling to 0-2 for the week.

kt Rolster vs Hanwha Life Esports
Two struggling teams face off in the hopes to add a win to their record and move closer to contending.
KT did exactly what they needed to do and helped get Rascal on Gwen super far ahead early. Rascal would become a monster dealing outrageous amounts of damage and help secure the game one victory. Game two would be an even stronger showing out of KT and saw Aiming get nine kills in a huge series win over HLE
